Advantages: Stylish interior, Atmosphere, Fellow clubbers
Disadvantages: Price, Doesn't get going until 1AM
Rust is a super slick club in the northern section of the city, just behind a 'rapidly-becoming-trendy' square called Sankt Hans Torv. The atmosphere is friendly, but doesn't really liven up until midnight or 1AM. As for most places in Copenhagen a dress code is non-existent, but most of the people make at least a little effort. The music usually moves between reasonably light house to some quite deep and monotonous house at times. The interior is very modern, with low chairs and lights in the bar and two average size dancefloors, one with 'Saturday Night Fever' style lights under the floor. Arrive before 11PM to get free entry, otherwise it's 50 Kroner (unless there's a band or particularly special DJ playing). Drinks are expensive, even for Copenhagen - around 40 Kroner for a beer and upwards of 70 for a cocktail. But there's no rush to drink a lot - the place is open until 5AM. A great place to chill or dance - you might even spot some Danish TV stars (if you'd recognise any that is!).

- 25/10/01 Yes, I've started rating others too. As for the DJs at Rust - well, no big names from the UK. They have had a couple in co-operation with UK record labels (e.g.Moving Shadow). It's mostly the bigger local names and they're not international superstar calibre! Still good though. |

- 24/10/01 I'm definitely a bit - err - rusty when it comes to Danish TV stars. |

- 24/10/01 As well as writing more opinions, may I recommend you rate other people's as well - it'll increase how many people read yours too.
Look forward to more,
