Walking in can be slightly awkward if you don't speak Finnish, but they're polite nevertheless. As the name would suggest, it is a rather funky colourful place and has sofas upstairs overlooking the dance floor. The tunes are the same cheesy rubbish as English clubs but the difference is, it actually goes with the happy atmosphere of the place. Everyone's there to have a good time, and although the odd scrap happens outside it doesn't seem to have any of the ridiculous violence that goes on back in some English clubs. Ok, so I'm not your typical clubbing type of girl. Well at least I'm not in England! But it all changed when I came across the Fever nightclub in Helsinki (Annankatu 32, Kamppi). First of all it's 18+ which seems to be rather unusual here - some clubs going up to an age limit of 25!- so that was a bonus for us younger party animals.
