In terms of night clubs...Verona is lacking on nighty entertainment. During the summer most people go to Lake Garda and in the winter some clubs are open in Verona city centre. excalibur is quite an interesting locale as it has a very victorian decor. The highlight of the place is the fact that you can dance on the table and there are two floors playing different kinds of music. Musci tends to differ depending on the night ranging from cheesy dance to hardcore trance. There is usually an Italian band playing upstairs on most nights. As you can imagine the amusement value of seeing Italians getting down to english pop is quite fun. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a good night out in Verona. The venue is located near the Castle and entrance is based on consumption of alcohol ( a minimum of L10,000 approx. £3.50). It's definately worth experiencing if you're out and about in Verona.
