Fantastic restaurant in the heart of Dublin City (101 Talbot)

I have eaten in 101 Talbot a few times and I absolutely love it. The service is excellent from the moment you enter the establishment to when you leave it.

I ate in 101 Talbot with a friend a month ago. For starters I had garlic bread, then I had steak in a red wine jus and then I had pavlova. The portions are a great size and the food tastes gorgeous. The service is very subtle and the waitresses seem to appear at exactly the moment you need them.

The decor is understated and I like the way they have different art (from local artists) displaying every few months. When I was there were amazing photos on the wall. Very tempting to buy after a few glasses of wine!

The menu changes every few months and the chef is very creative, having things like black pudding with raspberry coulis. The prices are very reasonable for central Dublin as well.My steak was Euro24 and it was massive!

On my last visit to 101 Talbot, it was a Tuesday night and it was absolutely packed so I would advise booking ahead as it is probably impossible to get a table at the weekend.

I would recommend this restaurant for any occasion, from a romantic meal to a hen party or a work night out.

101 Talbot Street opens at 5pm every evening and is closed Sunday and Monday.
