The Blue Angel (Liverpool) ... Blue Angel - otherwise known as The Raz - is a nightclub, situated on Seel Street in Liverpool. It is a little slice of student heaven! It;s open all week and at the weekends. I spent most of my student life in the Blue Angel! The Angel is laid out across two levels - ground floor and a basement and is namechecked in early Beatles history (they played there). It s not the cleanest or nicest smelling of places, it s very hot, there s never any loo roll in the ladies and it s filled with rather a lot of moronic men most nights of the week. Club de Fromage (London) ... discovered this little gem of a club three years ago, on their opening night. I have been a regular ever since and they are celebrating their 3rd birthday this month having gone from strength to strength. Club de Fromage does exactly what it says on the tin - it is a club night packed full of cheesy tunes and cheesy DJs. People go there to dance, have fun, drink and cop off and the availability for doing all of this is in abundance. The event is held every Saturday night at the Islington Academy (N1 Centre). Strawberry Moons (Kent) ... Maidstone branch of Strawberry Moons opened a few years ago now, in a building which became an empty space after the Ro9bert Dyas store reduced in size by about half. The building was nicely cleaned up and had quite extensive rennovations to make it look nice and fresh and quite stylish with marble tiles and brass door handles etc etc. This is really as much as I can tell you about the club because I have never managed to get in. My friends and I have tried on a number of occassions and have failed to get in each and every time without exception.
