Catherine89 Life: ... time I went to Life was not exactly by choice- I was putting the rubbish out when the front door slammed shut in the wind, leaving me with no key, no shoes on, but luckily my phone in my pocket. My housemate s weren t back untill the next morning which left me with the choices of a)smashing a window or b)staying with my friend who lives nearby. I chose b), which put me at the mercy of accompanying my friend to w...

Hanash84 Electric Ballroom
... Ballroom is a venue situated on Camden High Street, a short stroll from the underground station. The neon lighting sign ensures you can t miss it! The venue itself is host to both live gigs and club nights. There are several bars situated within the venu, both downstairs and on the upper level. As a note, cards are not accepted at the bar, and there is no card machine inside, so it is advisable to bring cash. Downstairs is Level 1 which is the main stage and dancefloor area, and 2 bars, with there being only a few seats around. Also a cloakroom is situated on Level 1, near the entrance. Upstairs at Level 2 there is a room of booths and seating which is nic...

Freshy123 Flares Nightclubs
... Flares in my home town of Cleethorpes is home to the great musical hits of the 70s. Timeless classic after timeless classic fills the air as the people dance in the great surroundings of the themed building. The facilities are all great and it never seems to be short of seats for those tired legs or dance floor for those legs that can t stop moving. Flares sell most lagers off tap as well as most popular bottled drinks and a great range of cocktails (my favourite being the Cheeky Wimto). The only problem being that these cocktails can often seem extremely pricey, on some nights £8.50 for a large pitcher! They also charge £2 on some nights just to enter! Even though it...

wxcat The Joiner (Southampton)
... s only live Rock/Punk/Ska venue. Situated in St Mary s Rd, almost opposite the new St Mary s Surgery by Palmerston Park. Open most evenings, from 7/8pm till 11pm for live acts, gigs, and upcoming bands. Entry is usually £4-£8 depending on who is playing and whether anyone has heard of them before, its usally pretty full in there whenever I ve been! Entry is for ages 14 and up, be aware if you do look under 18 you will be ID d at the bar. The bar is at the front of the venue with the live area (usually including mosh pit) is at the rear of the venue. Drinks are decently priced and they have a good selection of draught and bottles. The venues capacity is appr...
