Amadeus more afectionatley termed amadesperate by the local student population was a godsend for aberdeen meaning the other existing clubs had to smarten up to compete and since its appearance other night club companys have decided aberdeen is finally worth investing in.

Amadeus manages to combine cheesy student pop on mondays and retro classics on thursdays with (according to my friends who like house and dance, coz i dont really) with pretty thumping house nights.
The cloakroom generally costs between 50p and a £1 per item depending on the night so take a large bag and put all your coats in the one!
The drinks can be on the expensive side although genrally there are special offers on certain pints and spirits, so if you don't mind the limited choice then it is possible to have a cheap night out in here.
They also have mr. freeze ice pops and on a monday, free busses, though they can be a bit of a free for all on the way home!
Yes its tacky, with its raise/lowering dancefloor stagey bit and all the flashy lights but too be honest its a good fun cheap cheerful night out (espec on cheesey mondays) and the crowd you get tend to be friendly and up for fun.
ok so it is possible that if you cant pull at amadeus on a friday you wont ever pull anywhere but for a cattle market it still has class.

Nb if you are a student, have a drink at the student union first and pick up some flyers to get yourself free entry.
