Even though i grew up in Preston, i never visited this club until my mates went to Uni in Preston and this became their regular dive. It will cost you between two and four pounds to get in and they hold battle of the bands here when it goes around. The themed nights are the most enjoyable of them all because everyone is in such a good mood. I went to watch my mates band and even though they came last, i had a blast. Thye have little bubbly things around the place which gives it a nice touch. There are two levels with a dance floor, stage and lots of little seating areas. Problem is though, half a pint of cola is the same price as a pint of draught beer. Not good if you are designated driver. The dodgy big flashing fish on the outside gives you the impression of a cheesy dance club but once you climb those moist stairs, a little pub/ club haven of the unclean exists complete with indie rock music and occasional heavy metal. The people are cool and the dj entertains requests so give it a go, you never know, you might have a good time...
