Despite its location in the heart of tacky, tourist London, close to Piccadilly Circus, Bar Rumba has - for a good many years now - been one of the most unpretentious and approachable central London bar/clubs. The weekly Tuesday salsa night is a highlight. Ideal for beginners, there are early evening salsa classes before you are let loose on the dancefloor. I think the tourists spoil it a bit because the owners pump up the price of drinks because they know the tourist will pay them. The atmosphere is quite friendly as everyone is out to have a good time unlike similar london clubs such as bagleys. Well recommended!!! ...
