Berties (Newquay)

BERTIES Berties I have to say is one of the best places I have ever been in terms of nightlife. Its far better than anything that Cardiiff, Swansea or anything else I have ever witnessed. Althought there was an incedent (BLOOD EVERY WHERE TITLE) were so one was leaking blood everywhere in the toilets, (For some reason)this never put me off. MUSIC The music in the night club is brill, and is played at just the right sound level, not too loud so that your ears ring for days afterwards, and loud enough to enjoy yourself. Conformity sucks. Erm, yeah. Clubbing's not about conformity; it's about the music, the people - depending on where you visit, obviously. Berties doesn't conform, and that's a good thing...right? Last time I wrote an opinion on a club in Cornwall, I hyped the Cornish clubbing scene probably a lot more than I should have. Sure, it has a few decentish clubs y'know, but they're really not Club clubs, if you see what I mean, they're not solely about the experience and music like some of the country's superclubs - the likes of Cream (Liverpool), Gatecrasher (Sheffield) and the soon-to-be Pachá (London) are.
