Advantages: plays alternative music

Disadvantages: 12 year olds wearing dog chains (it really annoys me!)

Unfortunately this opinion is not going to be risqué or even mention anything to do with sex - but don't stop reading!!
Bond-age is a club that is held every Friday night at the Palace nightclub in Aberdeen from 10pm to 2am. For an entrance fee of £3 you get 4 hours of music and selected drinks for £1.50. At the moment these drinks include lager, export, woodpecker, house whiskey and vodka. Not bad!
The music played is of the alternative variety and mainly centres around American bands such as The Bloodhound Gang, Blink 182 and Offspring. Basically anything loud, noisy and guitar driven. Heavier music such as Slipknot and Korn is also played along with the odd NIN and Marilyn Manson track (if I'm lucky!). The music isn't exactly to my taste but it's the best, well only to be only honest, weekly alternative night in Aberdeen. I'd prefer more industrial/goth but beggars can't be choosers!
The clientele is pretty much of one type - young people wearing Nu rocks and those really irritating dog chains hanging from their jeans or skirts. However, there is a number of goths who hide in the darkest corner of the club (where else would they be?). Apart from the Palace, Elizium is the only other alternative night in Aberdeen. I've already written a review on this club! Bond-age is a pretty good night out and the best place to go for alternative music. It keeps me going until the monthly Elizium.
