The Plug is an out-of-the-way pub with a late licence found languishing in the dead zone between Brixton & Stockwell. Interesting-ish fact - it used to be a really crappy boozer called The Plough, but the O and the H fell off the sign, hence The Plug. Recently refurbished and relaunched, it now hosts Breakin Bread, saarf London's premier hip-hop night, on a monthly basis. Populated by a funky crowd who make you feel about as old as a pair of Run's addidas, this night is hugely enjoyable to anyone with even a passing interest in anything old-skool.
