Get Bugged Out !!! (Bugged Out @ Nation (Liverpool))
Member Name: sareliker
Advantages: Friendly, Safe, Clean Disadvantages: Expensive Drinks, Ques for CourtYard, Ques for toilets
Bugged out is one of the best nights in Liverpool. With fantastic sets by Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier (if you're lucky), Chemical Brothers and loads more, its one amazing night. It opens at 9.00 pm and get there early. its busy enough to lose your mates by 9.30pm, so make sure you chose a meeting point. If you're a local to Liverpool its at Nation, the same nightclub that hosts 'Cream', if your not then Liverpool Central is the nearest station. just come out the station, head up Bold Street, turn right onto Slater street and keep walking until you come to MelloMello bar, turn right and you cant miss it. Theres Cheesy dance music in the main room, more funky hard house in the Annexe but by far the best room is the Court Yard with full on Techno and electro sets. Theres a bit screen in the main bar area that tells you what time each DJ's set is on. Be warned get there early as the courtyard has a waiting time of up to an hour by 10.30pm. Great value for money with tickets £15.00 or a little bit more with booking fee, and it is advisable to purchase tickets to avoid the que..waters free and a vodka and coke is about £3.00 but beware ask for a double and double the price. Most bottles such as Smirnoff Ice and Breezers are £2.50 with bottled beers about the same. The toilets are not too bad with cleaners there from about midnight. No dress code, so come as you like really and if you fancy a change theres clothing for sale outside the Court Yard. Most people dress relaxed, trainers and funky tops, but you wouldnt be out of place dolled up to the nines, or in something bizarre. Quite a few glo-rods to be seen in the Court Yard (if you forget yours you can buy them from the friendly kebab man outside). Lots of after club parties to be had too, everyone is so friendly. Its on the last Friday of the month and Ive been a regular for a few years now, avoid the summer months, no students around, tends to be quiet in fact they dont even open half the club, Se Summary: |
