Advantages: nice staff, nice drinks, good music

Disadvantages: Only open until 2, wasnt very busy

On my 21st birthday I went to Chilli Whites in Leeds. This is a club thats only been open for about a year or less, and before that it was called townhouse.

Its a cocktail club in a converted factory building. Its very nicely decorated, and everything seems quite new and funky. Its a better club than townhouse used to be, and was great for a 21st birthday destination.

I reserved a table by going on the website and completing a form. I was emailed back the same day saying that they would reserve me a table and give us free entry.

I went on a thursday, which is 2 for 1 cocktails night. When we arrived we were indeed let in for free, and didnt have to wait too long to be served as there were only 2 other groups in the same room as us.

The club is divided into 3 floors, each with 2 rooms, apart from one floor where the toilets are. Each room has a theme, and different furniture. We were in the whitest room ever! It was so bright.

There was a dj in our room, and he played a mixture of rnb, chart songs, and classic songs but not cheese. It was just loud enough to give an atmosphere as well as be loud enough to dance to and be able to have conversations.

I tried the Cosmopolitan, another champagne one that a friend bought me, and a mojito. They were all really tasty, you got a nice big drink, and only £3 each! Or you could have 2 of the same one for £6.

The staff were very friendly, I felt really comfortable there, and the fact that there were chairs were great as my heels were very painful.

I stayed for about 3 hours, and we were the last to leave! The only other room that was open was a private party so I didnt get to see in there. The toilets are very stylish, and much nicer than most club toilets, but that could have been because it wasnt very busy.

The bouncers were also friendly and didnt have any problems with my friends going outside to smoke and then getting back in again like some bouncers do at other clubs in Leeds.

I had a really good night and can definately recommend this as a trendy cocktail bar, that isnt really pretentious and has a good atmosphere and good music.

Summary: I had a great birthday
