I've been a regular at claires for about 10 years now and I've seen the club under go many changes in that time.The atmosphere is always brilliant whether you choose room 1 or 2 to dance,room 1 is mainly funk,hip hop,soul,garage and 70's with room 2 catering for the hard house and trance heads.The club has played host to many top name DJ's over the years such as Judge jules,Paul Oakenfold,Grooverider,Trevor Nelson too name but a few.The named DJ's usually play on a friday night where as Saturdays is for the local talent and believe me there are some very good DJ's in little ole Devon, Matt Vinyl being my personal favourite.The club itself is quite small About 300 - 400 tops but it seems bigger especially the house room which looks fantastic after its recent re-furbishment.Entrance to the club is £6.00 before 10 any thing after you'll be lucky to get in believe me it gets busy! so whether you're local or coming down for your hols and you like banging house or more chilled grooves come on down to Claires see you on the podium!
