Club Uropa (Leeds)

Thats right Uropa - or Poo-poker or U-Grop-her, has shut - last I saw (about two weeks ago) it had a load of old boards stuck outside it. I went there the first week it opened. I never had cider since that night! but I did go again - and it was pretty god -especialy on a saturday I think it was, it was a good dance night for its time - but the place went down hill. It became a "sticky carpet" club! I right dive in some eyes. Oh dear - if only they'd hae kept it tidy! Thing is thats where Sundisential Noth was held - I never went, would have liked to, but wheres that gonna be held now? huh? Answers please... ...

I've been a student down in leeds for the last three years, and have been to Club Uropa on Thursdays for the student run Vodka Society loads. This club is not bad at all, there is video screens, podia to dance on and several levels to dance on. There is always somewhere to sit of you are nackered. One of the best things about this club is that I've always found it quick and easy to get served at the bar (of which there is about 5) there is some computer games to play if you loose you mates. Oh and the bouncers are pretty friendly too (they've been known to give out lollies). The worst thing about this club is the toliets - pretty smelly and ...
