Excalibur, is a great nightclub, some local people know it as The Cooperage. On weeknights there is a new feature of live bands playing, but on weekends the club is a true to form nightclub. Entry costs vary, but it is cheaper than most clubs in Newcastle, so expect to pay around £6. On Monday evenings, you have a choice of how much you pay. For example if you pay £1, you get £2 in drinks vouchers. £5 gets you £10 and so on.
