In my opinion (not it must be noted that I am not a hardcore clubber!) DNA is one of the best clubs in Birmingham. It runs a number of student nights which in the past the best of which has been a Tuesday (UKSN) and Thursday, my favourite fizzy pop!

These nights are cheap and are even cheaper with a student card and even cheaper with a club pass (about 3 quid) drinks are also cheap if you find out what is on offer so bonus there.

The club itself is modern and consists of 3 floors, one of which is often reserved for VIP's. The main dance floor is a little small but the club is well regulated on the door so it is never too cramped.

Fizzy pop on a Thursday is particularly popular with first years due to its unique brand of cheesy music from the 80's 90's and 00's. Also as the club is relatively small it means that it is relatively easy to find your friends if you accidentally get split up from them (or not!!)

DNA is quite strict on ID (I always get checked, but then again that’s not saying much!) and have a "policy" of making you put your coat in the cloakroom (at a charge of £1)

Overall DNA is a good club with good music, fantastic lights and a couple of bars (so easy to get served) there are also some areas of seating on the second floor and I think an outlet where you can buy food (though that may be drunken hallucinations! - I'll check next time I am there)
However my only critiscism is that the nights tend to be the same each week so its best not to overdose on it or you tend to get bored.


think i should now add that DNA is no longer and over the summer break has been converted into a lap dancing club called extreme.
