Elements is a year old this month. Having been to last eight in a row. To say that this night recaptures the spirit of when illegal warehouse raves were vogue is an understatement. It's in fact better. With one of the most consistent resident DJ's (Red Jerry) spinning the sounds of tech and tribal trance, every month has yet to fail in producing the goods! Each month has seen a plethora of big name and up and coming DJ's like Timo Maas, Nick Warren, Slacker, Lee Burridge and Clive Henry do their thing and totally rock the dancefloor! This month sees the arrival of one of the hottest talents of the moment Sander Kleinenberg spin on the wheels of steel in the main laser room, this cannot be missed. With one of the most up for it crowds in London, get yourselves down there to see what you have been missing at superclubs like Home, Fabric and Ministry. Hold Tight!
Elements the Hooj Choons night at Electrowerktz is quickly building a reputation as one of the best club nights in London. Once you go there it's easy to see why. Only a stones throw from Angel Tub Station, the queue is minimal (we have never waited longer than 10 minutes at most), there is no dress code. The club itself is very basic with the main room (downstairs) consisting of nothing more than a concrete floor and green lasers, drinks come in plastic glasses and are suprisingly cheap for a London venue (Lager £2.50 a can). What the club lacks in decor it more than makes up for with the music, a constant supply of excellent DJ's in both rooms means no-one is sitting down after 11pm! open until 5am it's lively, small and sometimes unbelivably loud, not for the faint hearted! Music ranges from hard trance downstairs to funky house upstairs. This is the most consistently good night I could recommend, it's always a pleasure going back each month and seeing the same friendly faces, and at a mere £6-£8 on the door it won't be hard on your wallet. highly recommended!
Elements has taken over from the saturday Slimelight club to become the most successfull club currently hosted at the electrowerktz. It has a partyed-up techno vibe and the music is suprisingly varied for what is essentially a smallish venue. The crowd ranges from the average joe shirt wearing brigade - with girlfriends in little tops...to the hardcore clubbing electrobunny cyberdog junkie. What's great about this night is that it is open until 6am and so provides a great place to go after another club if you can't face going home yet. Tubes start running at 6.oo am on saturday mornings and since the club is only about two minutes walk from angel station there is no need for night bus hassles. If yo van afford it then there are cabs to be hired from outside the club. Warning though that parking in Torrens street is extreamly limited.
