Elements is a year old this month. Having been to last eight in a row. To say that this night recaptures the spirit of when illegal warehouse raves were vogue is an understatement. Elements the Hooj Choons night at Electrowerktz is quickly building a reputation as one of the best club nights in London. Once you go there it's easy to see why. Only a stones throw from Angel Tub Station, the queue is minimal (we have never waited longer than 10 minutes at most), there is no dress code. The club itself is very basic with the main room (downstairs) consisting of nothing more than a concrete floor and green lasers, drinks come in plastic glasses and are suprisingly cheap for a London venue (Lager £2.50 a can). What the club lacks in decor it more than makes up for with the music, a constant supply of excellent DJ's in both rooms means no-one .. Read the complete review

Elements has taken over from the saturday Slimelight club to become the most successfull club currently hosted at the electrowerktz. It has a partyed-up techno vibe and the music is suprisingly varied for what is essentially a smallish venue. The crowd ranges from the average joe shirt wearing brigade - with girlfriends in little tops...to the hardcore clubbing electrobunny cyberdog junkie. What's great about this night is that it is open until 6am and so provides a great place to go after another club if you can't face going home yet.
