that this place does not exist. I've never heard of it! Despite many consecutive weekends up town in Wigan, only broken by holidays abroad and illnesses, I can safely say that this place is a figment of someone's imagination. Here is a list of clubs that ARE on King Street followed by a brief description.. Scotts - tacky, rough, shut down Chaplins - shut, not likely to reopen, used to be quite good (or so my Dad tells me) JR's - for the older customer (ie over 50), used to be called the Movies and used to be a VERY rough old trot Turnkey - spent many years growing up (and throwing up) in this place, now it is just full of Ecstacy fuelled 14 year olds Last Supper - open all night, that's its' only positive point Walkabout/Surfers Paradise - Aussie Theme Pub & Club, average, cheap ale sometimes Springbok Bar - not yet open at time of going to press Chicago Rock - well, you know don't you, they have these blooming everywhere It's quite possible that one of the closed down ones is being done up and being renamed, but if you really want to know about clubs in Wigan, you know what to do, get in touch!
