Advantages: Good atmosphere

Disadvantages: Music can get too bad!!

I've been to Flares a few times now and overall, they've been good nights. Don't expect to hear any credible good music in Flares, no prizes for guessing it's a 70s themed club, but the music is strictly 70s(ish, they don't always get this bit quite on the money) cheese. Expect the likes of Bees Gees, Grease medleys and the like. Songs you cringe to admit to knowing every word to, but in Flares you're in good company coz everyone belts them out on the dancefloor!
It's a fun night out, the places are done up well, with lit up dancefloor, giant models of platform shoes hanging from the ceiling and the like.
Drinks are the usual prices for a club, but not too sky high. They have a great cocktail and shorts list.
Theme nights are a regular thing and many people go there in fancy dress whatever the occasion!
The atmosphere is generally pretty good, you don't get much bad feeling, or people that are out just to pull and fight, the people who you find in Flares are just generally there to have a good time.
