You are welcome to come join the masses and devote your life to the new religion, as part of this religion you must attend the house of the lord every friday(promise) and saturday(shindig), come taunt yourselves on fridays with some heavy house and trance with the likes of Joy Kitikonti, Mauro Picotto and Ed Halliwell, and then on saturdays prepare yourself to have your mind liquified as you get attacked with some serious hard house, if you are a true clubber, this is your calling, i guarantee you will not be disappointed, no trouble, no mess, just plain simple hardcore fun!!!

This is it. This is Newcastle's equivalent of Cream or Gatecrasher. This is the only club in Newcastle where you get non-cheesy hard dance. This is where the big name DJs play, especially on a Saturday night. Unfortunately, because of it's singlarity, it attracts all the hardcore people and from my experience, they tend to be drugged up. I don't like associating dance music with drugs and I wish I didn't have to do it here. But every time I have been to Foundation on a Saturday night, it is obvious that Ecstasy is the drug of choice. I have felt intimidated in here, and as if everyone was on a completely different level (literally). Stick with the drink, I say. And stick with other clubs in the area. Newcastle needs more underground clubs to take the concentration of druggies away from Foundation.
