A bit cheesy but cheap (Frisco's (Southsea))

Where do you start with this place. It was one of my first places i went, when i started being a student down here. Its a place you go to to start with before you go onto Time Nightclub next door.

The place is beneath Bar Blu, the more up market and the better of the two. It has has more up to date music than Friscos but isnt as cheap. We all mainly go on a Monday night where it is 50p a shot of any spirits and then you but a pint of mixer for 50p as well, so you can get well oiled before you move anywhere else.

The interior of the club isn't much to write home about, its dark, dingy and somtimes smells if the drains in the road overflowed as they have done once before. I can tell you it wasnt a pleasant smell so we didnt stay long. The club seems to be strict on the age restriction thing but it seems though that most of the women in there arent over 18 but they could just look young!!.
The music is varied from modern day music to the cheesy tunes of the 70's.

Most people have a good night there, but it is not a place you would want to spend your whole night as the places around it are better, a little more expensive but you will have a better night moving around. Theres about 6 clubs and bars all next to each other along the seafront, so you will find something to suit your taste.

Friscos is a place you go to for a cheap start to your evening, get lots of drink down your throat and move on to the others along the front.
