I have been to two of the Golden specials at the academy and they have both far surpassed my expectations. The venue consists of a large main room and a small chill out bar. Both are brilliantly decorated with golden decor including two large projection screens either side of the dj showing live visual mixing throughout the night. The music policy is trance through to hard house ensuring the atmosphere builds as the night progresses. All the crowd are up for a good night, this may be down to the resonably expensive entrance fee separating the serious clubbers from the rest of the pack. Overall every Golden event I have been to has been great and is always worth the trip for me down the M62 from Leeds.
