HippodromeNewest Review: ... of acts that combine aspects of comedy, circus, cabaret and burlesque. The acts range from amazing acrobatics and circus skills to a comedy strip tease (yes, this production is only for over 18s!). I am reluctant to mention too many details - I don't want to ruin the element of surprise - but I cannot possibly post a review without devoting part of it to the mesmerising David O'Mer. The Hippodrome is mega tacky. The drinks are massively over priced, I cant remember what I paid for a bottle of bud, but I remember questioning the price with the barman. The club it’s self is quite big, on a few levels, but its very dark, so watch your step! It excellently situated right outside Leicester square tube. It’s reasonably priced for a London cheesy nightclub. Not very entertaining drinks menu but will do, an alcopop lovers heaven. The music ranges greatly, but the pop here is as good “top of the pops” can produce ... Read the complete review
