Disadvantages: Hosts, doesnt seem 'finished off'

After being to Home a number of times I am still a little unsure, yes it is good as an overall club, its decor varies from clever (booths with TVs showing the dance floor) to a half finished look depending on the floor visited. In theory the place is good with a floor dedicated to dancing, with a balcony for the 'watchers' and then other floors with places to dance and crash which create more a intimate atmosphere. There is still something about the club that screams 'half baked' though. The finish and panashe of a truely great 'superclub' is not quite there. The music on the other hand is defined again, by the floor you choose, the range suits the type of club it is - it varies from down right funky to harsh pumping rythyms - and with guest DJ line ups expanding to Paul Oakenfield being resident makes the club stand out.... that is if you can get in. I have heard from more than 1 person that the so called 'hosts' are more than a little harsh about who can and cannot enter, apparently you should 'know about the essence of the club' the slightest reason and they will be asking you who is DJing that night through to 'what do you call those things on your feet because they arent what I would say is fashionable'. So its down to choice, weighing the pro's and cons is difficult for this place but it has to be seen just for Homes idea of the 'superclub' for this millenium.
