Home, sweet Home? (Home @ Leicester Square (London))
Member Name: Blonde
Advantages: Superb venue Disadvantages: Few loos, early closure, too many tourists.
If you are a tourist and know very little about what is available to you as a clubber in London, then by all means, go to Home. The fact that it is in Leicester Square means that the ratio of clubbers to tourists is far too high. The queues are far too long and the £15 entrance fee is a con considering the club closes at 3. I would, however (after all that) say that it must be done once. The sheer size of the club is an experience in itself. 5 floors of rocking music is enough for anyone to be impressed by. Get there early though, as the queues are long and the doors close at 1am and no amount of blagging or flirting will get you past the cameras. If you suffer with a weak bladder (as most of us do whilst drinking alcohol) get your bearing about you from the start, as a major design fault with Home is that the toliets are only on the ground floor (before you enter the dance floor) 5th for women and 2nd floor for men. This is a club that can hold up to 2500 people. THEY NEED MORE LOOS! Summary: |
