Katy Dalys (Belfast) ... in Belfast, you will find that the nightlife here is very good. I have been dating my lovely boyfriend for almost three years and on our first date, he met me in this bar for a drink. I remember sitting there nervous as hell in a new outfit and worried that i was going to get stood up. I neednt have worried though as he turned up on time and i found that this was the exact type of bar that i felt right at home in. It has a real rustic feel to it and i felt right at ease as the staff were so welcoming and friendly. O'Neil's (Belfast) ... is a bar in belfast it also sells food. It is just recently refurbished. It was an old bar and it has now kept its unique old style ,but been modernised with combining the two styles. Oneils is now called McCrackens and it is just off Bridge Street down joys entry. It is nice for a quiet pint during the day and good music at night. The music changes every weekend but plays mostly hip hop and r and b. I used to dj here myself so it is a great place to let your hair down and have a drink or even a boogie. Costello's (Limerick) ... playing anything from The Shins to Frank Sinatra... Chat & booze with mates down here before braving the tatty yet beloved "disco bar" upstairs, where you will invariably end up dancing like an ape to maybe The Smiths/Modest Mouse before the night is out, all this punctuated by cigarette breaks in what may be one of Irelands only "smoking cages". To wrap it up, make sure you hang about when the lights have gone on at 3am (ish) to source one of the many inevitable parties that will be taking place in the near locality... if you play your cards right, you might swing an invite!
