Advantages: Open late, great nights.

Disadvantages: Dirty, packed.

Lakota is one of Stokes Croft's most popular night clubs, hosting such nights as Itchy Feet, Blow Pop and Tribe of Frog. This is the club to head to for nights that begin early and finish twelve hours later.

The club is a little difficult to find as it is down an alley, and the entry way is small, which means on busy nights the door-people are often eager to rush you through. The cloakroom is very small and the staff are slow, and there is never an orderly queue which can cause a few scuffles as people push and shove to put their things into it.

The club is surprisingly big inside, with a great soundsystem that pumps the bass throughout the entire club. However, when busy the main room can become very packed and hot, and the club can be difficult to navigate. Also, the toilets are very dingy, unclean and often the doors don't lock and there's no toilet paper.

Lastly, drinks are epically expensive, as with many nightclubs, so it's not ideal for students on a tight budget. However the atmosphere is always great and the nights they put on are always of a high quality and great fun.

Summary: Your typical dingy nightclub, but with awesome music!
