Lush for me is an experience i think me and my friends enjoyed more than most. After 'Paradise lost' in belfast collapsed, and we turned of age... lush was the place to go. 60 miles from home, Lush was worth every mile of travel. If you go in the summer, leave early on saturday morning! Visit the east strand beach, or nearby portstewart drive-on beach, have a swim, go shopping, have a kfc. Then... the fun begins, book a b&b or hotel within walking distance of kellys, easy done, there are loads. Turn up anytime after 9pm, when the doors open and wham! u r landed right in one of the best clubs in the world in my view. Ive been to tenerife, ive been to ibiza, theres none other that plays the latest and hottest progressive beats! u can visit clubs that play cheese, pop music and radio sh1t... but not here... 6 months ahead of the club charts, col hamilton will beat the tunes of the future into ur head at full volume. guest dj's are world famous, ive seen and obtained autographs from tiesto, paul van dyk, fergie, dave seaman, carl cox, and lads more.... except mauro picotto, he refused to sign my piece of paper, for which i have lost my faith in him lol. But regardless... 9pm to 2.30am is an excellent time, music stops at 2pm tho. if you walked to lush from your b&b, u will be walking back... and believe it or not, id recommend it. Some of the nicest and coolest people walk back from lush, u will meet girls mostly, students who live nearby and hungry pedestrians flooding the chippys that stay open for the occasion. the metropole hotel was a favourite of ours because it was perfect for a young crowd to come back to and have an after-party, meeting new ppl and sleeping in unusual places, waking up beside unusual but friendly strangers. Lush, portrush has loads of bars, and an inside chippy... and a plastic bin outside to put ur empty bottles in, and plastic cups to pour ur last drink into on ur way out. No other club offers this kind of attitude. Finish ur drink b4 u come in, rather than 'if uve had a drink, u cant come in'. overall a fantastic place to party, but keep your wits about you, not everyone in northern ireland shares my liking and enthusiasm for the place.

Summary: Expensive entry, normally £10. And better to stay the night in hotel of b&b
