Advantages: Laid back bouncers, Dark, lasers, Hard music

Disadvantages: Dirty, No atmosphere, Expensive drinks

The night I went to at the Mass was called Tsunami, it cost £10 and finished at 6am. We had no idea what music they were playing, we just sort of randomly ended up in this club! On walking through Brixton to the club I received a flyer advertising the night I was about to go to. The top DJ Anne Savage (hard house) was playing. Should be good then...

My friends and I just strolled right in to the club, there were no searches or even second glances from the bouncers. To get into the club, you have to walk up a huge spiralling staircase which leads to the main dancefloors. The set up is a bit strange, the building used to be a church. I found this a bit spooky considering now it's a club. Brushing my "spooky" feelings aside, I ran up the stairs and found the music! The two main dancefloors are opposite each other separated by doors and a corridor with the huge staircase in the middle. There are a couple of dark chill out rooms which were full with people smoking skunk spliffs. Much the same as most clubs I seem to go to, but I didn't like the atmosphere at all inside this club, there were a lot of men just hanging about on their own, perving on all the women. I'm afraid that this is the most annoying thing in the world for me, I cannot stand men like this, they are all sad and should be shot!

Anyway, the dancefloors were really small and there were hardly any seats anywhere to sit down. I thought the general condition of the club was quite bad, it needed refurbishment and a clean. It was quite dark everywhere which I liked and there were lasers which were good. As far as I could remember there were three bars but as usual, drinks were expensive. The toilets were wet and dirty - for some reason this is important to me!

When it came to the time Anne Savage was supposed to be playing, we discovered she wasn't actually there. It had all been a blag to get us into the club. So we were not impressed.

The music w
as definitely hard, fast and furious but I prefer to see the real DJ's!
It wasn't my worst night out but not my best either. I didn't particularly enjoy myself but the next person might, so I hope I reviewed it fairly enough to let you decide!

I went there once, but to a different night, it was alright, not amazing! Good op!
