There are O'Neills pubs and clubs all over the UK - are they as popular anywhere as they are in Aberdeen? There is one O'Neills in Aberdeen, right off Union Street. You go in for lunch - the prices are dirt cheap and the food is excellent. You end up staying for a pint - the barmen are sexy and there's a band coming on later. You watch the place fill up, and suddenly you're trapped, which is quite convenient, because you never wanted to leave anyway. There's good bands playing Irish folk-pop frequently.
