Pheobies was one of the best clubs in Munster when it was open. The place was massive. They use to get big name djs to play there. 2fm sessions use to play there quite often. They use to do the all drinks £1, every Thursday. That’s has stopped anyway due to new legislation coming into play with regard the use of happy hour and drink promotions. This was all part of the government’s big clamp down on binge drinking that never worked and never will work. The only way to prevent binge drinking is to replace the drinking with something else, i.e. binge eating or binge drug taking. Anyway people still talk about those days when drinks were so cheap.
