Advantages: fun club/bar. great atmosphere. good drink prices
Disadvantages: can be a long queue if you don't book
There are a number of Reflex nightclubs around the country now & they are 80s themed. Mainly I have been to the one near St Pauls/Cannon Street but have also been to the one in Southend.
It is £5 to get in but you can book a party in and get queue jump etc which then works out to £2 each. You have to be there by a certain time tho for this or they won't let you in. If you don't book and plan on queuing then best to get there early as it can get quite busy and I have waited over an hour to get in before!
The drink prices are different depending on what night of the week it is and what club it is but they are still quite reasonable. They do some great cocktails and pitchers that you get in a huge martini glass which are fab!
The club is purely 80s music and they play all the classics to have you dancing all night. You get a lot of people in fancy dress and also a lot of hen do's and birthday parties. Don't worry if you don't go in fancy dress, they sell lots of accessories behind the bar to dress up with.
Everyone there is friendly and I have never seen any kind of trouble. My friends and I always have such a good time when we go to Reflex and look forward to going again. I would recommend to all ages, especially if you like dressing up!
Summary: really fun 80s themed night out
