Advantages: Lots of floors, different nights and a pub that serves food

Disadvantages: Can get very busy during the summer months

Sailors is a very popular nightclub in Newquay. Not only is Sailors a nightclub there is also Sailors pub adjoining the club which is a brilliant starting point for a night out.

The nightclub is on four levels, there are five bars within the club and plenty of bar staff so even on a really busy night it doesn't take that long to get served.

The club is open every night in the summer with different events on each night, however in the winter months the club only opens Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Each night has different things to offer.

Thursday night - Weekend warm up, they have 2for1 on drinks.
Friday - Flirt - ladies night, free entry with a handbag!
Saturday - Passion - 2 cocktails for £6.50 (club open 10pm till 4am on a Saturday)
Sunday - Reloaded - Dj Pete Jordan - 10.30pm till late.

Apart from that there are other weekly promotions which are always advertised outside the club.

Sailors had a really good vibe about it, the club doesn't only attract really young people but a lot of older people go there also!
The staff are very friendly including the doormen, who are really on the ball for any trouble.

During the summer months Sailors can get extremely busy what with Newquay attracting stag do's and hen parties.
A popular night with the locals is Sunday night, many of the locals will be working Saturdays so Sundays are a great night out and the club is normally filled with mostly locals.
In the summer the queues can get quite long so get there early.

Sailors is defiantly a club to visit if you enjoy lots of fun, decent music, drinking and dancing the night away. And I totally recommend it for a night out.

Facilities include a cloak room which costs £1.

Adjoining Sailors is Sailors pub. This pub is very popular day and night, during the day people go there for food. The pub has an outside seating area which over looks Towan beach, this is very popular in the summer months and finding a seat can be quite tricky.

The pub itself has different events through out the week which all prove to be very popular.
Wednesday night - Pete Jordans Quiz night
Thursday night - Battle of the bands - £1.50 on selected drinks
Friday night - DJ Will B - Selected drinks only £1.50
Saturday night - DJ John London with the weekends biggest party
Sunday night - Karaoke night.

The pub also runs a promotion, buy drinks in any of the pubs and get half price entry to the club, so its worth drinking in there!

Sailors can be found on Fore street, you will pass it if your walking to fistral beach or the harbour, its not hard to miss with the bright lights and people sat outside the pub to the left of the club.

The entry to the club varies due to the event and the season, however in the summer I suggest you either get there early or get there late-either way to avoid the queue.

I have had many a brilliant night out in Sailors, I no longer live in Newquay but every time I go to visit I always have a night out in Sailors night club and quite often have some lovely food in Sailors pub.

I would totally recommend both the pub and the club to both locals and tourists alike.
