Sea Nightclub is on the Newcastle Quayside, (Newcastle side) right next to the Swing Bridge. (The lower red bridge over the Tyne). The club is right next to lots of bars so its not somewhere that you have to walk far to get to when the time comes to go clubbing like some other places in Newcastle. Also some of the Quayside bars (Jimmyz & Chase) offer free Q jump tickets for Sea and discounted entry on a weekend. Sea is one of the only modern buildings on the Newcastle side of the Quayside, and has a surprising number of windows for a club. It is quite open and modern inside, with two galleried bars on the first floor, as well as the toilets, and two bars, a cloakroom and a dance floor on the ground floor. The upstairs is accessible by stairs only. Sea is very popular with locals, and students on weeknights. The staff are quite friendly if not run off their feet, and often you will be given a free bottle of champagne if you are there celebrating a birthday on a weeknight!
