Advantages: Close to lots of other bars

Disadvantages: Gets really busy at weekends, Q jump vouchers are pointless

Sea Nightclub is on the Newcastle Quayside, (Newcastle side) right next to the Swing Bridge. (The lower red bridge over the Tyne).

The club is right next to lots of bars so its not somewhere that you have to walk far to get to when the time comes to go clubbing like some other places in Newcastle. Also some of the Quayside bars (Jimmyz & Chase) offer free Q jump tickets for Sea and discounted entry on a weekend. Only problem is because of the long queues to get in you can often spend longer in the Q jump queue than in the normal entrance which defeats the object of a "Q jump".

On a weekend the club gets really busy hence the queues. It does get pretty busy on student nights during the week however what I have found is that it can be quite hit and miss, especially on a Wednesday night. Some times it will be really busy other times very quiet.

Music is pretty standard Newcastle club music, but of everything, House, Dance R n B. If you are with a group of friends with different preferences in music I would say its quite a good choice to go to.

Drinks are pretty reasonable too, looking at £3 a drink on a weekend, where during the week there are various offers on.

Summary: Plays a variety of music, reasonable drinks prices
