Siberia is located in Bury which is just outside Manchester. For this opinion I will only talk about Siberia on a Thursday night because it is rock night on Thursday’s and that’s the only time I go. I attracts the Bury local rock community, and a few other unwelcome visitors in my opinion, these people are the sol rejects, sol is a crappy night club just next door and anyone who gets refused from sol as the average age of sol on a Thursday night is between 16-18 and you can tell these people from a mile off, and it is fair to say I hate them.

O.K back to Siberia, is located on the Rock in Bury. well on a Thursday night it is open from 9pm until 2am just like any other night club. It’s quite cheep to get in as it’s £2 with a flyer before 10.30pm or £3 without, it’s £4 before 11pm and £5 any time afterwards. It starts to fill up about 10.30pm.

The music is rock and is mostly mainstream rock which every body knows but the DJ is pretty crap so you can bring one of your own CD’s and he will play it, which is pretty sweet. But you can always put in a few requests as long as he has got the CD.

The are also cheep it’s only 70p for any shot or £1 with a soft drink with it e.g. vodka and coke. It’s only 75p a bottle of carling and £1 a bottle of grolsch, and there always girly drinks for only £1 stuff like Cuban fire and Siberian ice and other girly drink which I never have because quite frankly there shit. You can get pints for about £2 as well but I am always on the grolsch because I love it.

The place it’s self I very small and can only hold about 100-150 people I think but it a nice atmosphere and nice people. So if you live in the area give it a try because I could go on forever about my memories in that place, but I have never been on a night apart from Thursday and I plan to keep it that way.
