Space, or lack of it (Space (Leeds))

Advantages: Good music Disadvantages: Too Small
Standing in the queue you'd swear this was the biggest dive ever. I was thanking the heavens that there was only a short wait to get inside. The dismal and depressing entrance does little to inspire and I was ready for a quick dance and a quick exit. I begrudgingly paid my £10 entrance fee whilst making a sarcastic remark about the extortionate price of clubbing nowadays, not that the bored till lady actually gave a shit, then carried on down the stairs. My friend tripping and tumbling down the stairs put me in a better mood and off I went to seek out the toilets. After stepping through the doors of the club, I was pleasantly surprised by the white decor, even if it could have done with a bit of a clean. The music in one room was a a mix of RnB with latino tunes and in the other room there was more hardcore dance music. My friends and I stayed in the RnB room and spent most of the night loving the tunes but hating the lack of dance space. I was pushed and pulled, groped and annoyed and eventually left. It was a shame as the tunes were great, the sheer number of people let in to the club and the amount of drugs they had consumed spoilt it. Summary: |
