Advantages: Fun night out that does not cost the earth
Disadvantages: Not to everyones taste
Sorry but this one is for the girls :)
I recently went on a hen night to Bournemouth and part of the hen night was to see the Adonis Cabaret show, now when I found out we where seeing this show I thought oh here we go some rubbish cheesy strip show but boy was I wrong.
I would have to say that this was by far the best hen night I have been on. We booked a package deal where we stayed in a B&B, got tickets to the show & entry to a night club after for £70 which I thought was a very good deal.
Now what can I say about the show apart from oh my god lol. Firstly the show is hosted by a drag queen (why do they always have such good legs), I was not really expecting much from the drag queen as I have seen some before who where terrible, but i have to say this drag queen was the best I have seen she was incredibly funny.
The act was the usual sort of stuff you expect from a drag queen, dancing, jokes and singing, I think what made her so good was she involved everyone in the act so when she/he was singing she/he taught everyone the chorus so everyone joined in, she involved the hens a lot to with games and prizes etc.
Now for the strippers, well well well what a fine selection of men. There where three strippers in this show and each of them danced once but the dances lasted for about 20 mins each, they all wore several layers of clothes each having a different theme so for example they would come on dressed as a fireman then strip down to a sailor suit then a tux etc etc.
The strippers would run around the crowd and dance with different women & the hens would get dragged up on stage to dance and play games with them, the show is very tastefully done and very enjoyable to watch. The show is full nudity so be warned.
Overall the whole show lasts for about 2 and half hours, you get a free drink on entry and a free buffet is also provided. We where expecting the drinks to cost a fortune but they where cheaper than my local pub, a round of sixteen drinks (vodkas, archers etc) was about £35.
Also at the end of the show they hold a raffle where you can win tshirts, hats etc and all of the moneyraised goes to Breast Cancer research.
They hold these shows in three locations, Bournemouth, Birmingham & London, you don't have to book the package deal you can just get tickets for the show. If you are planning a hen night then I definitely recommend this, its a fun night out that does not cost the earth.
Summary: Perfect night out for a hen do
