Advantages: cheap drinks and a a chance to dance to music you wont have heard for ages (if ever!)

Disadvantages: Grotty, grimy appearance

The after dark club is a place that people go to, really enjoy, but would never dare admit to it! It's a dark and dingy place accessed by a secluded passageway (not all that inviting!). Drinks are cheap (and served in plastic glasses) and the music tends to err on the side of indie, rock, alternative and electro - well really, it will play anything at all so long as its not mainstream pop. Bank Holiday weekends are often a favourite as Friday night is given over to the best music of the 90's (the night is aptly named Sesame Street!). All my evenings there have been sweaty, drunken and ever so wonderful. So, despite its debauched reputation, unkempt appearance and slight dodgy spirits (you have to ask for a name spirit - its not cheap for nothing!) I'd recommend it to anyway who wishes to have a night away from the mainstream - and given the plethora of clubs banging out formulaic pop hit after formulaic pop hit, this could be just what the doctor ordered.

ENJOY!

Summary: A great night out if you can forgive the appearance
