I last went to Foundation in Newcastle on New Years Eve 2000 - 2001, and it was literally the best clubbing night I have ever had! However, the night didnt get fof to such a great start. We had planned to go to the Quay Side before Foundation to listen to the Shindig/Founation DJs playing on the Galaxy stage down there, but unfortunalty it was cancelled due to the terrible weather conditions. W e had bought tickets for the night, so we were assured to get in, but we still had to wait 20 mins in the que - but it was worth it! This is an excellent club in Newcastle that I visited recently. The music was really good, and was hard house for most of the night, but went a bit trancier towards the end of the night. The club itself is quite big, but not so big that you can lose your mates. When we walked in for the first time (having queued for just 10 minutes and paid 7 quid to get in- at 11.20pm), my first impression was that we had just walked into the underground nightclub where all the vampires used to go in the opening scene in the movie Blade.
