I last went to Foundation in Newcastle on New Years Eve 2000 - 2001, and it was literally the best clubbing night I have ever had! However, the night didnt get fof to such a great start. We had planned to go to the Quay Side before Foundation to listen to the Shindig/Founation DJs playing on the Galaxy stage down there, but unfortunalty it was cancelled due to the terrible weather conditions.

e had bought tickets for the night, so we were assured to get in, but we still had to wait 20 mins in the que - but it was worth it!

It is quite a small club once you get inside, well, the dancefloor is anyway. But I dont mind that if its a really good club.
The music played that night was mostly house, and I just stayed on the dancefloor all night long! There was live percussion with the DJ, and also a digitl camera going round - which always got the crowd excited.

If I had to spend New Years Eve anywhere again I would pick Shindig at Foundation straight away!
