The Hush (Birmingham)Newest Review: ... a change from most hot and sweaty night clubs! The music is excellent, not charty commercial dance, but proper club tunes that real clubbers know and love, not teeny boppers who listen to Dave Pearce on radio 1! If you want to hear Sash!, take my advice and go to DNA. A few times when I have been there they have had live percussion which is great to watch and really adds to the music! So ... more |

The Hush is a small, private club for members and their guests only. It is on Station Street in Birmingham city centre, behind New Street Station. Most people go to the Hush after going to another club; and use it as a chill out/after club dance venue. Every time I have been to this club I have had a great time. It is members only, and there can be a queue, but it is worth it! It is small (3 rooms, one of which is a cinema!)which gives a nice atmosphere. It has a capacity of 950 but never sees crowded due to the spacious layout. It is well ventilated and cool, which makes a change from most hot and sweaty night clubs! Anyone whos' done the Brum thing will have ended up in here. Bit dark n dingy, but there's not alot of places that are open till 7am that still play good music. As with MP's full of the locals, so you'll always see someone you know...brings u back for more (SUMMER 1999 gurners where r u all!).......place doesnt change even when youve gone away for a year, it's still the same!
