The Limelight is by far the worst club in Belfast. I say this as a once loyal regular who wouldn't miss a single Helter Skelter on a Saturday. The bouncers are the most ignorant people I have ever came across, the wouldn't admit one of my friends in because he had a Citizens Card which is a form of ID issued by the Government! Being a regular at The Limelight for over a year has had its advantages: friendly bouncers who are only too willing to hold your drink while you visit the toilet and allow you to skip the queue when going in, and an experience that makes you realise why this club has it all. Perhaps it does not have the most swish and luxurious look, but this does not stop it from being the place to go if you want a mad and cheap night out! Tuesdays at the Limelight, known as 'Shag' have such brilliant drinks promotions including vodka and pepsi for £2 and bottles of tenants for only a quid!
