Advantages: Cheap

Disadvantages: LOTS of flies, rude incoherant staff

This review is focusing on the Pheonix pub, daytime and evening, rather than the upstairs.

It is a yellow bar, which means you can buy a yellow card for around a £1, which lasts you a year and you can use for discounts on drinks. They have a handy keyring you can get so you don't forget your card if you go regularly. They also serve food, which is good and pretty cheap, decent for students.

The pub shows football, and doesn't seem to get as busy as the others, so can be good if you like watching it.

I don't really like this pub, its full to the brim of beer flys that wander over too you wherever you are. The tables are grimy, and the staff are quite rude and get your order wrong far too much. There is another yellow bar just over the road, which is a lot better run so I'd recommend going there instead!

Summary: This one lets the yellow bar chain down!
