you may have been told this before, but Sundissential is a top night anytime. Coz it's full of friends you haven't met and if bangin' house isn't your bag there's plenty of places to chill. Sanctuary actually improves the atmos by being dark and light, characterful and with friendly staff. You need only watch out for the stairs; they're a bit tricky when you're off your head! I was also pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the bogs. Food & drink, wine, women & song are all yours here and EVERYONE is not only mad for it but also wants to take you there as well. In conclusion, the best night I've had for a long time: I joined up on the spot!
The sanctuary is a good club, It's compact and it has a great atmosphere in there, I have been there a few times now travelling from the south and i love it every time I loved God's Kitchen (when it was there) and now the latest promotion is Casino which is a Garage night and that to is an awsome night out. They have the pull of a load of top Dj's/MC's and a great line up every week. Aside from that i found the club warm and welcoming (although the girls are stuck up and conceited in there!....Don't go there to pull!). The toilets were not as clean as i would have hoped (i always grade a club on it's toilets!!) Because they are the most important thing next to the music!. The sound system in there is very loud and upon exiting the club, it reminds me of coming out of a tunnel and all you can hear for the next hour is a constant whine in your head! Good club and i would also recomend you visit CODE down the road as thats where Gods Kitchen have now moved to.
i am from berkshire and one of my main loves in life at the moment is clubbing. I like to travel around all the big clubs in britain and one of the best i have been to is God's Kitchen at the sanctuary. The club was packed out and i loved dancing on the stage with everyone else. there was a superb attitude in the club itself and everyone is well frendly. As the other opinion said, the bouncers were well strick and took our glow sticks off us as we went in. One big fault is that the music was too loud and upon exiting i was near enough defened BUT NOW AN ERA HAS ENDED.. God's Kitchen has now moved down the road to a new club called THE CODE which opened on 29th of september.
The Sanctuary is worth a visit for Gods Kitchen - if nothing else. Although on my student loan, I can't afford that sort of money, you can go to Sanctuary on Wednesdays for Kaos. It's situated in Digbeth, which is hardly a nice area to stumble about in the morning, but the club is quite nice. We all got searched for drugs and weapons as we went in - which is nice to know that they take it so seriously. The club has three levels, the main two are the 1st and 2nd floor. The dancefloor is kind of small, and the other rooms are pretty small also. However, I bet the place rocks on Gods Kitchen nights. Two words of caution though, my mate accidentily knocked over another mates Bud and was thrown out even though we didn't care about the Bud - the bouncers don't mess about; and if you're going to God's Kitchen the queues can take all night - get there between 7 and 8 is the best advice I've been given.
