Po Na Na is a nightclub located on Magdalen Street within Oxford City Centre. Although it's open during a few weeknights mainly for student nights, you'll find it busiest at the weekends.

On a Friday night, they have their oddly titled Animal House night with a mix of electro, indie, rock & retro pop. So basically it's a good mismash which is liklely to please most people. Arrive before 11 & you can enjoy the additional benefit of half price cocktails.

On a Saturday night, things are far less commercial on their Boogie Beats night. The music you can expect is funk, soul, breaks, electro & drum n bass so much more specialised than their Friday night offering. If you're not really a fan of that kind of music, it's probably worth going somewhere else. If you do go along to enjoy this underground range of music, you can happily dance away till 3am.

The venue itself isn't very big at all, probably one of the smallest clubs in the city centre. There is a smallish dancefloor with a number of seats spread across the venue. Drink prices can be pretty expensive too for what you get too especially their range of cocktails. You pay £6 to get in at the weekend which isn't too bad, but look out for promo people nearby who may be able to offer you stickers offering discount entry.

Personlly I think this place isn't bad, I prefer Friday nights compared to Saturday just because there's more stuff I recognise music-wish. This is somewhere I don't mind visiting once every couple of months, but there are definetly better nightclubs in Oxford city centre.
