Krups Nespresso XN2005 ... ve always liked a good expresso, although I don t get along well with cafeine... but just having to go out for one was just too much hassle for me, I m more of a home guy. However they were pretty pricey so I kept postponing the buy, until I went for a short stay in France. I managed to grab it off the internet using promotional codes and a reimbursement form Nespresso for (this is where you stare in desbelief!) the grand total of ... 18 Euro!!! Bosch Tassimo TAS4011GB ... browsing on Amazon I noticed that the Bosch Tassimo machine is currently reduced to £69.90 from the RRP of £100 so I thought I would highlight this and give a quick review of what I consider to be an excellent machine. Firstly, Tassimo is a hot drinks maker which has very few parts to it. It has a water reservoir at the back, a compartment for putting the drink discs into, a cup holder with an integrated drip tray and a very basic control button. The drip tray is adjustable so that you can raise it for espressos, leave at normal height for most drinks, or remove altogether. DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM3200S ... has been about 3 weeks since I purchased the machine, and it has been three weeks of delicious coffee! The machine is easy to use, with clear adjusters for both strength and cup size, they are adjusted simply by turning a knob. It takes a little trial and error to get it right, but once you ve found the perfect strength and the perfect amount for your cup, your away. It also has a steamer, great for heating up milk. Makes a great Hot Chocolate, this too is easy to use, all you need to do is turn a button and out comes the steam.
