Bosch Tassimo TAS4011GB

While browsing on Amazon I noticed that the Bosch 'Tassimo' machine is currently reduced to £69.90 from the RRP of £100 so I thought I would highlight this and give a quick review of what I consider to be an excellent machine. Firstly, Tassimo is a hot drinks maker which has very few parts to it. It has a water reservoir at the back, a compartment for putting the drink discs into, a cup holder with an integrated drip tray and a very basic control button. I am now, after months of searching, the owner of a Bosch Tassimo coffee machine. Our cheap filter coffee machine packed in so we have been relying on the cafetiere, which is great but you are left with bits of coffee at the bottom of your mug! I have read so many reviews on coffee machines and still couldn't make up my mind. I looked at a variety of machines in shops but they were often very bulky. My old Braun Tassimo died after 10 month use so happily we were able to get the new Bosch Tassimo as a replacement! Bosch seem to have ironed out many teething problems with the Tassimo and hopefully this one will be more reliable too! The machine arrives well packed in a box, it is fairly light and easy to unpack and looks very sleek in a corner of the kitchen. It comes in black, silver or red, and I think they all look nice. This little coffee making machine by bosch is fantastic, offering the option to make a range of teas, coffee's and hot chocolate at the push of a button. If you love your hot drinks in the winter then this is the machine for you. For those of you with kids you can make a great cup of hot chocolate for them on those cold dark evenings before bed. Easy to use and doesn't take up too much space in the kitchen due to it's compact size, measuring in at just 273mm high, 204mm wide and 334mm deep, and lets face it, it looks pretty stylish too, but what else would you expect from Bosch. I bought our Bosch Tassimo for my partner from Argos a couple of week before Christmas as one of her presents - after a month or so of nagging! I paid about £70 for it, and at the time was half price. Although she came with me when I bought it, sure enough Christmas day it was the first one she opened. It gave her great pleasure opening the box, filling the reservoir with water, placing it on the kitchen top and plugging it in. The satisfaction was strewn allover her face as she put the first of the disks in it to make her first cappucino, followed by mocca, latte and a few other coffees that were drunk Christmas day.
